An aquaculture engineering office that fabricates and installs what it designs
Aquaculture Solutions is neither a mere equipment reseller nor a coordinator of subcontractors. The company brings together under one roof, in Trégueux, the trades a complete aquaculture project requires: study and design, thermoplastic fabrication, industrial piping, waterproofing, electrical work and commissioning. This integration is what sets our four services apart — they are not sold in silos, but built around one project and one single point of contact.
Everything begins with the engineering office: site audit, reading of the biological constraints, hydraulic sizing and custom design. Then comes the installation, where the parts fabricated in our workshops are installed, connected and gradually filled with water. Once the system is running, service and maintenance take over to guarantee performance over time — the quality of an aquaculture circuit plays out over years, not on delivery day alone. Finally, training transfers the right operating practices to the user teams.
Our installations rely on four complementary ranges: custom live storage tanks for crustaceans and shellfish, MAELSTRÖM (external, counter-current) and NAUTILUS (internal, instant skimming) protein skimmers, recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) for freshwater and seawater alike, and purification systems for shellfish farming. Each range is sized for its actual use, never delivered as a standard configuration.
This approach serves demanding fields: retail and wholesale, public aquariology, research centres and educational institutions. From Leclerc live tanks to the Liège Aquarium tanks, via the CNRS and INRAE, the same thread runs through our work: design it right, fabricate it in France and remain responsible for the installation through to commissioning.
In practice, the client deals with a single quote, a single schedule and a single lead, from the first survey to maintenance. It is this continuity — not the sum of isolated services — that secures the lead times and reliability of an aquaculture project.
